ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE- On Monday July 27 at 7:00 a.m., there will be a road closure TO THROUGH TRAFFIC on West State Street. Evergreen Roadworks will be paving from Northridge Ct to Turkey Farm Rd.

Lane Closure Notice- The 700 Block of Northridge Drive will be reduced to one lane beginning Tuesday, July 28th so crews can replace sections of concrete.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE- Beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2026, intermittent road closures will begin on State Street. The effected areas are between Augusta & Augusta, and Division & Dorchester. Residents will have driveway access.
On Monday, July 27, 2026, the water department will shut all service off for residents that live on Franklin Street between North Jefferson and Lincoln. The interruption of service will begin at 8:00 AM and is expected to end at 2:00 PM. The reason for the interruption of service is to allow the new water main connection. Once service is resumed, the effected residents will be under a boil order.
The repair is now complete and the roads are all back open.

Open Road Paving will be working on Mahomet streets on Tuesday and Wednesday July 21 and 22.

Franklin Street from Lombard (IL 47) just past East St

A solicitation permit has been issued to Sun Run Solar, the dates on the current permit are July 16, -July 18, and July 20-July 21, 2026. Solicitation is permitted within the Village of Mahomet Monday-Saturday from 9:00 am -5:00 pm.
ROAD CLOSURE ALERT-The south bound lane of Lincoln is closed beginning at the Franklin/Lincoln intersection. The closure is expected to last until the afternoon of Friday, July 17, 2026.
ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE-Andover has reopened for thru traffic.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE-July 15, 2026 Andover Drive will be closed to replace the culvert at the Lutheran Church beginning at 8:00 AM. The Church access will remain open.. The road is expected to reopen on Friday, July 17th.
Public Works will be spraying Herbicide beginning on Tuesday, July 14th in the alleys and the Main Street Business Area.
**ROAD CLOSURE ALERT** IDOT will be closing Route 47 South (Division Street) within the hour. The closure stems from an oil leak that occurred earlier today. The leak also caused the closure of I- 72 EB lanes. Please be advised that both NB and SB lanes will be closed. As of right now, we have not been given a timeline on when the roadway will re-open.
The Sandy Ridge Road entrance/exit will be closed at 7 am on Monday July 6.
Amy Drive between Sandy Ridge Rd and Jeffery Dr will be closed also at 7 am July 6.
Amy Drive is being replaced at Sandy Ridge Rd to Jeffery Drive.

The Village of Mahomet Administration Office will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026 in Observance of Independence Day
Public Works will be spraying herbicide on Thursday, July 2, 2026 (weather permitting) . The spraying will take play at the Water Treatment Plant on Vine Street and at Freedom Plaza on Main Street in Downtown Mahomet.
The intersection of Jeffery Drive and Amy Drive will be closed at 7am Monday June 29.
Will be reopened Thursday July 2 by 4pm.

The closure is planned until Friday July 10.

Beginning Monday, 6/29 the Village of Mahomet will be replacing concrete street panels near 1006 and 1007 Fawn Drive and also near 1201 Center Street. At these locations the streets will be reduced to one of traffic. The work is anticipated to take approximately two weeks on Fawn Drive and one week on Center Street.
The Public Works Department will be spraying for weeds on Tuesday, June 23 a the Water Treatment Plant, 806 Center Street. Additionally, the Parks & Recreation Department will be spraying for weeds at all their locations this week.
