Representatives from PAVLOV Media have secured a solicitation permit for the dates of February 25th-February 28th AND on March 2nd, 2026.

A Representative of Sun Run Solar has secured a solicitation permit for the following days; February 23-February 27th. As a reminder, solicitation is permitted Monday thru Saturday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Public notice is hereby given to all persons that the Village of Mahomet Plan and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday March 3, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, 503 East Main Street, Mahomet, Illinois, regarding proposed amendments to Chapter 152 of the Municipal Code, the Zoning Code of the Village of Mahomet. The proposed text amendments will amend the Zoning Code to change area, height and yard regulations. Effected Zoning Ordinance sections are as follows:

152.091 AREA AND HEIGHT MODIFICATIONS

Information concerning the proposed text amendment will be available for examination on the Village website www.mahomet-il.gov on February 27, 2026. If you cannot access the information online, please contact the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office by phone (217)586-4456 to make other arrangements to view the documents. Interested citizens are invited to provide comments regarding the request either in person at the public hearing or by prior written statement. Public comments related to this case may be submitted in hard copy at the Administrative Office (503 East Main Street, Mahomet) before 2:00 pm on March 3, 2026, or by email submission to Abby Heckman, Village Planner aheckman@mahomet-il.gov no later than 4:00 pm on March 3, 2026, to ensure placement of such comments in the official record of the public hearing proceedings.

Crews will be flushing the hydrants on Route 150 near Farm Credit Offices
